The Nature Crusaders started in the early part of the 90's that marked the various technological advancement and development in economic sectors, these however, resulted in the degradation of our Natural Resources. In line with this, a group of environmentally concerned individuals come up with the idea that a CRUSADE for the protection and conservation of our environment is needed and an organization with committed and responsible members be organized. Hence, NATURE CRUSADERS was born.
Nature Crusaders officially started in Ateneo de Manila and was brought to the Ateneo de Naga through the effort of Dr. Melanio Regis and his wife Dr. Emelina Regis and was granted official recognition on December 21, 1991 with Paul Gomez as the first President.
Since then, the Ateneo de Naga Nature Crusaders has been conducting nemerous activities such as Environmental Education for elementary, high school students and community youth in Camarines Sur.
